GAFFER TAPE HACK FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS

Writer's picture: Lucinda GoodwinLucinda Goodwin

Fellow Photographers, Have you ever needed gaffer on a job and didn't have some handy coz a whole 20m roll wont fit practically in your bag?

Here is a clever way to save space in your bag, but always have gaffer on hand! What you need

- roll of gaffer

- empty film canister

1. Remove lid from Film Canister

2. stick the end of gaffer to the film canister

3. roll the tape onto the canister

4. keep rolling until you have enough tape

5. Hey Presto! Gaffer tape that takes up a whole lot less room!

Have you got another way to save room in your bag?

I live, learn and work on the land of the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin nation, and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture as the Traditional Owners of this land.

I Pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.
